We are seeking a talented and motivated Pharmacy Intern to join our team at Loblaw Companies Limited. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing exceptional customer service and supporting our pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a graduating student to gain hands-on experience in a retail pharmacy setting. As a Pharmacy Intern, you will be responsible for assisting with daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications, processing prescriptions, and providing customer service. You will also have the opportunity to work with our experienced pharmacy team to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications and processing prescriptions
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and customers
  • Work collaboratively with the pharmacy team to achieve business objectives
  • Develop skills and knowledge in a supportive and collaborative environment
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science, Pharmacy
  • Superior customer relations skills and a strong sense of professionalism
  • Excellent leadership and performance management skills required
  • Proven ability to build the business using community-based marketing strategies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
  • Strong personal computing skills, as well as knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy Computer system a definite asset
