About the Role

Crofton House School is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Annual Giving Manager to join our Advancement Department. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in building and implementing a year-round fundraising plan to grow the CHS Annual Fund and Annual Golf Classic Tournament.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and implement fundraising strategies to grow the Annual Fund Program, including soliciting and stewarding donors, coordinating and managing projects, and creating and managing a calendar of multidimensional appeals.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Advancement to develop and implement a student philanthropy program aimed at creating class funds and to assess the program at the end of each year and lead annual planning.
  • Facilitate community involvement and support from former parents and grandparents, helping them to remain connected to the school community and eventually securing philanthropic support.
  • Procure, oversee, and nurture third-party sponsorships for the Annual Golf Classic Tournament, with the objective of achieving an annual fundraising target of at least $100,000.
  • Manage the production of all sponsorship signs and attend all committee meetings, collaborating with the rest of the Advancement team to learn the structure and dynamics of this event.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in an advancement/development role.
  • Strong sense of fundraising ethics and practices, and respect for the confidentiality of donor information.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a professional and empathetic approach.
  • Capable of simplifying complex matters and identifying priorities.
  • Diplomatic and tactful with an ability to read each situation and use sound judgment.
  • Direct experience managing volunteers.
  • Ability to articulate the benefits of an all-girls education.
  • Ability to adapt to new and changing situations and challenges.
  • Commitment to continued professional learning and development.
  • Knowledge of Raiser's Edge software.
