Job Summary

ZAIKA TASTES OF INDIA is seeking a skilled Food Service Professional to join our team. As a Restaurant Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Present bills to customers and process payments in a timely and efficient manner
  • Describe menu items and make recommendations to customers
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Greet patrons, present menus, and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Order and maintain inventory of wines and wine glassware
  • Serve food and beverages to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming environment for all guests
Requirements
  • Experience in a food service environment is an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of wine and wine service is an asset
