About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Courier Delivery Specialist to join our team at 2812756 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and picking up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Delivery and Pick-up Services: Safely and efficiently deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand, ensuring timely and accurate completion of tasks.
  • Customer Service: Provide professional and courteous service to customers, responding to their needs and resolving any issues in a prompt and efficient manner.
  • Information Relay: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring seamless communication and coordination with our team.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Sell products over established routes, maintaining a strong understanding of our product offerings and providing excellent sales and merchandising skills.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of items received and delivered, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Specialized Delivery: Deliver newspapers, flyers to residences and businesses, as well as transport and handle dangerous goods, requiring a high level of attention to detail and safety protocols.
  • Event and Conference Support: Accept and deliver messages and packages for events, conferences, or assemblies, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Package Sorting and Preparation: Sort packages for delivery, preparing and packaging goods for safe transportation and handling.
  • Trip Planning and Navigation: Utilize maps and other trip planning aids to optimize delivery routes and ensure timely completion of tasks.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
