Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie-MOH to join our culinary team at Great Canadian Gaming Corporation. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for producing high-quality menu items, maintaining a clean and safe working environment, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of menu items, adhering to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized, maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to achieve efficient food production and presentation.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies for menu items.
  • Participate in food safety audits and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer feedback and concerns.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as culinary arts or hospitality.
  • Minimum 3 years of kitchen experience, with 1 year in a casino environment preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and shift work.
  • Safe food handling certification and knowledge of HACCP.
  • Ability to obtain a Gaming License with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with regular exposure to heat, cold, steam, noise, odors, and lifting. The ability to work in a non-traditional work environment is essential.
