Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Guard to join our team at Respect Rx Pharmacy in Ottawa. As a Security Guard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, staff, and property.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct proactive and reactive security patrols to prevent and respond to incidents
- Respond to emergencies and incidents, and provide first aid and CPR as needed
- Investigate routine incidents and prepare reports
- De-escalate situations involving conflict, violence, or other security threats
- Monitor surveillance systems and respond to alarms
- Provide access control and ensure the security of the pharmacy and its assets
- Collaborate with emergency responders, clients, and management to ensure a safe and secure environment
- 1 year of experience in security, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Valid First Aid and CPR - Level C certification
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain professionalism under pressure
- Candidates with experience in healthcare and mental health will be given priority
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UoF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB)
