Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Propak is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for generating engineering documentation that meets industry standards and codes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ASME pressure part strength and structural calculations related to HRSG/OTSG components.
  • Coordinate preparation of all calculations required to substantiate the OTSG/WHRU design.
  • Lead on vendor-related issues, including generating specifications and evaluating bids.
  • Prepare technical packages for pressure parts design registration.
  • Review internal and customer interface drawings.
  • Disposition of shop non-conformances.
  • Provide input to the overall project schedule.
  • Responsible for reviewing and implementing Engineering Specifications.
  • Prepare progress and budget reports to senior management.
Requirements:
  • A graduate of a recognized diploma in Mechanical/Process/Chemical Engineering program.
  • Professional Engineer in good standing.
  • 5+ years' experience in Engineering Design work related to the power, process steam plants.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
  • Ability to meet objectives while working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to interpret and utilize complex information.
Work Environment:

Work is performed in an office setting with usual weekday office hours. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines.
