Position Overview

The role of the Assistant Manager of Housekeeping Services at Living Water Resorts is crucial in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and organization within our facilities. This position involves overseeing the daily operations of the housekeeping department to ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to safety protocols.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

Our resort offers staff accommodation, providing a supportive environment for our employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure and manage equipment and supplies necessary for housekeeping operations.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and teams.
  • Conduct inspections of designated areas to ensure cleanliness and order.
  • Supervise and guide housekeeping staff in their daily tasks.
  • Oversee contract services related to housekeeping.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies.
  • Manage maintenance and repair services for housekeeping areas.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals for staff members.
  • Maintain an inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
  • Supervise and coordinate in-house laundry services.
  • Ensure adherence to local health and sanitation regulations.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints regarding housekeeping services.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Lead and manage working groups within the housekeeping department.

Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail is essential.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking is required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
Experience Requirements

Minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant experience in housekeeping management.
