Job Title: Assistant Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Living Water Resorts. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and customer satisfaction in our resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and purchase equipment and supplies to maintain a high level of cleanliness and efficiency in our housekeeping operations.
  • Plan and coordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and crews to ensure seamless execution of daily tasks.
  • Conduct regular inspections of assigned areas to identify and address any cleanliness or maintenance issues.
  • Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure they meet the highest standards of customer service and cleanliness.
  • Coordinate contract services, such as laundry and dry cleaning, to ensure timely and efficient delivery of services.
  • Ensure that safety standards and departmental policies are met at all times.
  • Supervise maintenance and repair services to ensure prompt resolution of any issues.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals to identify areas for improvement and recognize outstanding performance.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies, equipment, and uniforms to ensure efficient operations.
  • Supervise in-house laundry services to ensure high-quality cleaning and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate dry cleaning and valet services to meet the needs of our guests.
  • Ensure compliance with local health and sanitation regulations at all times.
  • Respond promptly to guest complaints and concerns to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking environments.
