Job Summary:

As the Guest Services Supervisor, you will be integral to the daily operations of our hotel. Collaborating closely with the Hotel Manager, you will oversee front desk activities, ensuring that every guest receives outstanding service. In the absence of the Hotel Manager, you will take charge of the team, ensuring seamless operations and guest satisfaction. You will also lead initiatives to promote our hotel and dining offerings, enhancing our visibility and engagement within the community.

Key Responsibilities:

Front Desk Operations:

  • Welcome guests with a warm and professional demeanor.
  • Efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes.
  • Address guest inquiries and provide comprehensive information about hotel amenities and local attractions.
  • Accurately process reservations and modifications.
  • Assist with billing and payment transactions.
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to ensure rooms are prepared for guests.
  • Resolve guest complaints and issues in a timely manner.
  • Train and mentor front desk staff.

Hotel Management:

  • Support the Hotel Manager in daily operations and strategic decisions.
  • Supervise hotel staff during the Manager's absence, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with various departments to uphold high service standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of innovative ideas.

Marketing & Promotion:

  • Work alongside the marketing team to enhance the hotel's visibility through various initiatives.
  • Maintain engaging content across social media platforms to boost online presence.
  • Ensure adherence to all hotel policies and standards.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred qualifications include a diploma in Hospitality Management or Business Administration.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software and social media.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for marketing.
  • Only candidates with Canadian citizenship or valid Canadian work permits will be considered.
