About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at the Ontario Public Service. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: Earned a doctorate degree in psychology and have relevant experience in the field.
  • Work Setting: You will be working in a correctional facility, providing mental health services to inmates.
  • Certifications and Licenses: You must hold a Provincial or territorial Psychologist's Certificate of Registration.
  • Security and Safety: You will be required to undergo a criminal record check.
  • Personal Suitability: You must possess excellent interpersonal skills, be accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient, and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Financial Benefits: As per the collective agreement, you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Work Term: This is a permanent position.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language of work.
  • Hours of Work: You will work 36.25 hours per week.
