Position Overview

Reporting to the Beverage Manager, the Senior Hospitality Worker plays a crucial role in ensuring exceptional beverage service at various events hosted on campus. This position requires a highly responsible and organized individual with a strong understanding of liquor licensing regulations and health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional and efficient beverage service to guests, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Supervise and guide a team of Hospitality Workers (Non-tips) during events, ensuring smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for alcohol and other beverages, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
  • Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to plan and execute successful beverage service strategies for different types of events.
  • Enforce liquor licensing regulations and ensure compliance with fire and building codes during all events.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a hospitality or event management setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of liquor licensing laws and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required.
