About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Bestway Cabinets & Millworks. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cabinets and millwork for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Fabrication: Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools, and measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
  • Installation and Finishing: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware, and maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.
  • Project Management: Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites, and ensure that all projects are completed on time and to the required standard.
Work Environment

As a Cabinetmaker at Bestway Cabinets & Millworks, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and will be expected to handle heavy loads and work long hours.

Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, combination of sitting, standing, walking, handling heavy loads, and physically demanding work.
  • Personal Qualities: Accurate, client focus, judgement, reliability, team player, values and ethics.
