Position Overview:
As a vital member of our team, you will be responsible for orchestrating the demand planning process and ensuring alignment between supply and demand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Formulate, assess, and deliver a comprehensive demand forecast spanning 12 to 18 months on a monthly basis.
- Oversee the development of site-specific demand and supply plans, conduct capacity assessments, and proactively identify potential risks in both medium and long-term scenarios.
- Confirm production forecasts and revenue plans for the site to ensure operational efficiency.
- Lead interdisciplinary teams to address and mitigate long-term supply chain risks.
- Facilitate effective Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings to drive strategic alignment.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to foster continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to team members to enhance their professional growth.
- Uphold a safe and compliant working environment.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a College or Technical School diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Materials Management, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, planning, or scheduling, preferably utilizing SAP or similar tools.
- Exceptional negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
