Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Strategist to join our team at Thermo Fisher Scientific. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to drive business growth and improve supply chain efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts to inform production planning and inventory management decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate supply chain risks and opportunities.
  • Design and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Provide expert guidance on SAP system functionality and best practices.
  • Lead training and development programs to enhance job performance and support departmental improvement projects.
  • Participate in North American meetings of Sales and Operations planners for process improvement and system enhancements.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • College/Technical School diploma in Materials Management, Supply Chain, or related business field.
  • 5 years of previous manufacturing, planning or scheduling experience using SAP or equivalent business planning tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in S&OP and long-term planning preferred.
  • Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience preferred.
