About the Opportunity

Wind River Systems is seeking a highly skilled People Partner to join our team in Canada. As a key member of our senior management team, you will play a critical role in identifying and implementing People-related programs and solutions that drive business success.

This is an operational role that requires experience in employee relations, engagement, coaching, benefits, and more. You will work closely with our senior managers to provide guidance and direction, support key business initiatives, and ensure maximum organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities
  • Business Partnership: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, helping them deliver their best work every day. Execute a full range of People duties, including organizational design and development, management coaching, and team building.
  • People Team Partnership: Engage and collaborate with our global People team to execute on various people-related strategies locally.
  • Manage new hire orientation and onboarding for managers and employees.
  • Work closely with our People Operations teams to ensure operational efficiency within the country.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive and leverage employee engagement initiatives to elevate and sustain high levels of employee engagement.
  • Employee Relations: Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective investigations and exit interviews.
  • Culture: Engage and align local leadership/management with Wind River's culture to drive inclusivity and a growth mindset.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to implement core People-related policies, programs, and practices necessary to drive business objectives.
About You

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with a minimum of 7 years' generalist experience in Human Resources. You should have the ability to partner with and coach senior managers to increase their performance and ensure strong leadership and coaching throughout the organization.

  • Coaching and development, talent/performance management, and engagement initiatives.
  • Advising on issues with employment law implications.
  • Creating a best-in-class employee experience.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to quickly build relationships and credibility with leaders.
  • Excellent oral/written communication and listening skills.
