Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our team. As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing a book of business and ensuring our customers have the coverage they need. This is a full-time position based in Kelowna, BC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support new and existing customers by offering recommendations for insurance products and services
  • Promote retention of existing customers by building strong relationships and providing quality customer service
  • Navigate multiple insurance partner online portals to complete customer applications
  • Quote new business through outbound calls and walk-in clients
  • Communicate with insurance company Underwriters to ensure evolving guidelines are met
  • Prospect and up-sell to clients on all lines of business sold
  • Liaise between client and external insurance partners to ensure fair and proper representation for both parties
  • Continuous self-development, through industry and community involvement, and industry-related courses

Requirements

  • General Insurance Level 2 is required
  • Experience with ICBC fleet/garage
  • Experience with commercial lines insurance
  • Ability to communicate professionally in person, over the phone, and through email
  • Experience managing a book of business or relatable work experience
  • Desire to learn new systems and processes
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to different work environments
  • Passionate about helping people, self-driven, and determined to succeed
