Job Summary

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a sessional lecturer to teach First Nations Language Structure & Analysis: Secwepemc. The successful candidate will have expertise in Secwepemc language and culture.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Secwepemc language and culture courses to students at the Williams Lake campus.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the department's goals and objectives.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback.
  • Contribute to the department's research and community engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree or equivalent qualifications and experience in a relevant field.
  • Advanced fluency in Secwepemc language and culture.
  • Experience as a Northern Secwepemc language teacher.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
