About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team at Infoblox. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale data platforms and products that deliver next-level networking solutions for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Curate and refine large-scale data from various sources to inform business decisions and drive new product development.
  • Design, test, and implement storage solutions for data warehouses like ClickHouse and OpenSearch.
  • Develop and maintain APIs for seamless data integration and retrieval processes.
  • Apply computer science algorithms and constructs to distill large data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and product teams to build and deploy Spark applications.
  • Design and implement mechanisms to monitor data sources over time for changes.
Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience with Python3 and 2+ years of experience with Spark.
  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data science, and related data-centric fields.
  • 3+ years of experience with SQL and modern relational databases.
  • 3+ years of experience with developing ETL pipelines and data manipulation scripts.
  • Experience working with ClickHouse data warehouse.
  • Expertise in designing and developing APIs for data access and manipulation.
  • Proficient in Object Oriented Design and S.O.L.I.D principles.
  • Emphasis on unit testing and code quality.
  • Proficient with AWS products, including EMR, S3, VPC, EC2, Athena, etc.
