Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented and organized Executive Chef to lead our kitchen team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory, as well as preparing and cooking food on a regular basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in menu planning, food quality control, and staff training.
Key Responsibilities- Food Cost Control: Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Culinary Expertise: Prepare and cook food on a regular basis, or for special guests or functions, to meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Menu Planning: Plan menus that meet the needs of our customers and ensure that food meets quality standards.
- Staff Training: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
Requirements- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 to 44 hours per week.
