Position Overview

Join our dynamic team at Anokhi Inspired Indian Cuisine as a Head Chef. We are seeking a passionate culinary professional who can lead our kitchen staff and elevate our dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Analyze operating costs and various data to enhance kitchen efficiency.
  • Demonstrate innovative cooking techniques and introduce new equipment to the culinary team.
  • Supervise the activities of specialized chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel.
  • Create unique recipes that reflect our brand's ethos.
  • Instruct kitchen staff in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty foods for events, including banquets.
  • Oversee the daily operations of cooks and kitchen staff.
  • Prepare meals for regular service and special guests.
  • Manage the requisition of food and kitchen supplies.
  • Coordinate equipment purchases and necessary repairs.
  • Consult with clients regarding catering for weddings, banquets, and special events.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities across multiple dining venues.
  • Design menus that meet our quality standards.
  • Train staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
  • Employment Duration: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English.
  • Working Hours: 35 hours per week.
