Housekeeping Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Sawridge Edmonton South in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. As a key member of our hotel's operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and quality in our guest rooms and public areas.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Housekeeping Staff: Oversee the daily activities of our housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Inspect and Maintain Guest Rooms: Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms to ensure they meet our high standards of cleanliness and quality.
- Manage Housekeeping Operations: Coordinate the cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities.
- Develop and Implement Quality Standards: Work with our hotel's management team to develop and implement quality standards for housekeeping, ensuring that our guests receive the highest level of service.
- Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and development opportunities for our housekeeping staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
- Monitor and Control Expenses: Manage housekeeping expenses, ensuring that we are operating within budget and making the most efficient use of resources.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: A high school diploma or equivalent education is required.
- Minimum 3 Years Housekeeping Experience: A minimum of three years of experience in housekeeping, with at least one year in a supervisory or management role.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required.
- Excellent Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with a team of housekeeping staff and interacting with guests and other hotel departments.
This is a full-time position, requiring a high level of physical activity and attention to detail. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our guests.
