About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Makau Family. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our private residence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Household Management: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, shop for food and household supplies.
  • Organization and Time Management: Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn.
  • Work Environment: Work in a private residence, urban area, with room and board provided.
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, repetitive tasks, attention to detail.
