Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Construction Supervisor to join our team at Saif Driveway Sealing Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring timely completion of projects.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of 3-4 tradespeople, including trades helpers, insulators, and cement finishers.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all construction work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Cost Management: Estimate costs and materials, and oversee the procurement of necessary supplies and equipment.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that the work site is a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that projects are completed to their satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the construction industry.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Willing to work outdoors in a noisy environment.
  • Work Setting: Construction, maintenance, repair, residential, restoration, and inspection.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work under pressure, and be able to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent oral communication skills, organized, reliable, and a team player.
