- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure the quality of our food and service.
Tasks:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure the efficient operation of our kitchen.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared to a high standard.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet demand.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure the financial sustainability of our food service department.
- Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform our purchasing and inventory management decisions.
- Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure that orders are accurate and complete.
- Maintain knowledge of our establishment's culinary genres and ensure that our menu offerings are consistent with our brand.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure that our customers receive their orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Establish work schedules to ensure that our team is adequately staffed to meet demand.
As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel. You will also be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
