Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Akropolis 5 Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their jobs safely and effectively.
- Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that their needs are met.
- Record Keeping: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing accurate and timely reports to management.
- Reporting: Prepare and submit reports, providing management with the information they need to make informed decisions.
- Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment.
- Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports Indigenous people.
