About the Role

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at MBI I.T. Services. As a Technical Field Representative, you will play a vital role in providing onsite hardware and application support at voting locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver, install, and test hardware and software to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless execution of IT services.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation for training and end-user procedures.
Requirements
  • College diploma or university degree in Computer Science and/or Information Technologies, or 1-year equivalent work experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with personal computers, printers, wireless connectivity devices, and mobile devices (Android 8+ or Apple iOS14+).
  • Ability to work extended hours as required.
  • Ability to lift a 20 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • No criminal record.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CompTIA A+ certifications.
  • Technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Working technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Possession and use of an owned car for travel between locations.
