As a Human Resources Advisor - Employee and Labour Relations, you'll play a key role in nurturing this culture, ensuring equitable practices, and upholding the highest standards of compliance with labour laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert guidance on legislation, collective agreements, and policies to employees and stakeholders
  • Analyze employee grievances and concerns, finding resolutions that honour all parties involved
  • Facilitate dialogue and understanding to resolve conflicts and find common ground
  • Empower clients through training and sharing best practices
Requirements

We're looking for a seasoned professional with at least five years of experience in a unionized environment. Your toolkit should include a deep understanding of employment legislation and case law, as well as excellent communication and conflict resolution skills. A valid Class 5 Driver's License is also required, as you'll be supporting stakeholders throughout various facilities within the City.
