About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at 0790726 B.C Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including complete meals and individual items, using a range of cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Kitchen Management: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and well-organized.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff and helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, as well as kitchen safety and hygiene procedures.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean kitchen and work areas, including equipment and utensils, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
