Sun Life Retail Advice & Solutions stands as a premier financial institution in Canada, providing comprehensive advice and solutions encompassing insurance, wealth management, and health services.

The Advisor Compensation Effectiveness team is responsible for the strategic oversight of advisor compensation frameworks, including design, implementation, monitoring, and governance.

Reporting to the Director of Advisor Compensation Effectiveness, the Senior Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting quantitative design and analytical initiatives aimed at assessing the overall efficacy of the advisor compensation program, including evaluating the ongoing benefits derived from this program.

Key Responsibilities:
# Conduct financial analysis and modeling of compensation initiatives to identify the necessity for updates to compensation structures and develop business cases for leadership consideration.
# Perform both quantitative (e.g., financial and impact analysis) and qualitative analyses (e.g., facilitate problem-solving sessions, workshops, and interviews with subject matter experts to introduce fresh perspectives and innovative solutions).
# Articulate findings and recommendations clearly and compellingly to foster productive discussions and decision-making among senior leadership.

Monitor sales performance against costs, advisor and field leader turnover, collaboration, potential gaming indicators, exceptions, strategic action bonuses, NAFYC, and dealer revenue, presenting key insights to leadership and proposing solutions aligned with risk management strategies.


# Lead competitive intelligence, benchmarking, and research on industry trends related to advisor compensation.
# Develop clear, structured presentations and formal communications that highlight key messages and supporting data.

We seek a strong creative and analytical problem solver with a solid foundation in data analysis, capable of conducting both quantitative and qualitative assessments, interpreting results, and preparing reports and presentations for executive audiences.


# Experience in quantitative and financial analytics, including proficiency with modeling tools and techniques, is advantageous.
# Previous experience in compensation design is beneficial.
# Familiarity with Sun Life's operations would be an asset.
# An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
