About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Administrative Assistant to join our team. As an IT Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our IT group, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Licence renewals and management
  • Software, computer equipment, and network equipment procurement
  • Internet, telephone, and network contract management
  • Telus Mobile Account contract management
  • Budget preparation, monitoring, and compilation for the IT department
  • Payment of bills and implementation of annual services
  • Ariba purchasing process management
  • SAP Procurement Process management
  • Variety of purchases related to the IT department (stationery, etc.)
  • Creation and monitoring of consultants
  • Travel and expense account management assistance

Requirements

  • College or professional degree in administration or office automation with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar position
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Basic knowledge of accounting
  • Knowledge of SAP or any other enterprise resource planning (ERP) system is an asset
  • Bilingual (French, English) both written and oral
  • Knowledge of MS-Project and Visio, an asset

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance
