Position Overview

As a vital member of the Corporate Solutions Technology team at IG Wealth Management, you will collaborate with a dynamic group dedicated to crafting innovative solutions for our clients, advisors, and employees by leveraging cutting-edge technology and insights. The Senior Manager of Architecture will engage closely with executive sponsors, project managers, systems analysts, software developers, vendors, and infrastructure specialists, sharing leadership responsibilities for system delivery and quality throughout various project phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the definition and proposal of Business Systems and Technology solutions as part of project leadership teams.
  • Designing comprehensive business application systems, including end-to-end solution components, to fulfill required functional and non-functional capabilities.
  • Architecting the integration of business applications with complex systems and infrastructure in a multi-company setting.
  • Providing oversight to ensure all system components are effectively constructed and implemented.
  • Collaborating with other business, system, and enterprise architects to ensure organizational alignment of solutions.

Core Competencies and Experience:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, integrating, and implementing application solutions within large, complex systems environments, including the SAP ecosystem.
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivering multi-platform business application solutions.
  • Proven ability to design and implement complex solutions that encompass both automated and manual processes.
  • Extensive knowledge of IT industry technologies and trends.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience in defining business strategies, processes, and systems across various business domains.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work effectively in team settings.
  • Excellent communication and internal consulting skills, complemented by a strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to distill complex and sensitive topics for effective communication with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field.
  • Capability to operate within regulatory and privacy frameworks.

Preferred Competencies:

  • Knowledge of the Wealth Management/Capital Markets and Financial Services sectors.
  • Experience in delivering capabilities involving packaged/SaaS solutions.
  • Familiarity with cloud implementations and migrations.
  • Understanding of the SAP ecosystem.
  • Awareness of integration platforms such as MuleSoft and SAP BTP.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce ecosystem.
