Position: Senior Technology Solutions Architect

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, propose, implement, and oversee the technical framework (including hardware, software, databases, and communication systems) for various applications in a large-scale, distributed, multi-platform setting. This includes identifying necessary information and determining the environment for development. Document the architectural design of all systems, standard operating procedures, and contribute to both current and future design initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in a technology architect role.
  • Proven experience with complex software products and highly tailored solutions.
  • Demonstrated capability in transitioning from customized solutions to configurable ones.
  • Required experience in the public sector.

General Skills:

  • Leadership in developing and implementing technical architectures.
  • Extensive knowledge across multiple platforms, operating systems, environments, database technologies, and communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with middleware and gateways.
  • Understanding of performance considerations across different environments.
  • Experience with structured methodologies for application design, development, and implementation.
  • Strong background in systems analysis and design within large systems.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and ability to guide others in this methodology.
  • Ability to translate business needs into reporting requirements.
  • Experience in creating conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • Proficient in using Computer Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools and project management software.
  • Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, along with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proven track record as a collaborative team player.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in developing enterprise architecture deliverables in accordance with established government processes.
  • Understanding of Enterprise Content Management principles and applications.
  • Familiarity with Information Management concepts, policies, and practices.
