Administrative Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Paradise Freight System. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Administrative Tasks: Arrange and coordinate seminars, conferences, and other events; coordinate the flow of information within the team; evaluate daily operations; open and distribute mail and other materials; record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences; schedule and confirm appointments; answer telephone and relay telephone calls and messages; answer electronic enquiries; compile data, statistics, and other information; respond to employee questions and complaints; order office supplies and maintain inventory; greet people and direct them to contacts or service areas; set up and maintain manual and computerized information filing systems; type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work independently; fast-paced environment; tight deadlines; attention to detail; repetitive tasks.
- Personal Suitability: Ability to multitask; excellent oral communication; excellent written communication; flexibility; organized; team player; client focus; time management.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provides diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Youths: Provides awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.
- Support for Indigenous People: Provides cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
Language: English
Hours of Work: 35 to 40 hours per week
