Nurse Practitioner

At Southbridge Care Homes, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurse to join our team at Chelsey Park London. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional resident care while adhering to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and conditions of residents, and initiate appropriate health measures.
- Organize and direct functions related to resident care, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
- Assist in the management of nursing and personal care staff, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
- Train and develop new staff members, referring concerns to the Director of Care as needed.
Requirements:
- Current certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- A passion for caring for seniors and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
- Registration/eligibility with the Registered Practical Nurses Association of Ontario.
- Previous experience in long-term care is an asset, with a comprehensive understanding of duties.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks with urgency.
- Excellent communication and comprehension skills, with the ability to develop creative problem-solving skills.
