About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our team at peopleCare Communities. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Care to develop and implement resident care plans.
  • Assess, diagnose, and evaluate resident conditions, prescribing treatments and diagnostics as needed.
  • Provide clinical leadership and education to nursing and personal support care team members.
  • Monitor resident health and note any changes in conditions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date resident records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
  • Delegate clinical and administrative responsibilities to team members.
Requirements
  • Nurse Practitioner Certification from a recognized program.
  • Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario as Registered Nurse in the Extended Class or RN (EC), in good standing.
  • Advanced knowledge and decision-making skills in assessment, diagnosis, and healthcare management.
  • Experience in Long-Term Care considered an asset.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
