With a robust growth trajectory, our headquarters are situated in Toronto, Ontario, and we manage properties across British Columbia, Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick.

We are currently in search of a Building Resident Manager (individual or couple) for one of our properties in Ottawa. This full-time role offers an apartment benefit, health coverage, and comprehensive training.

Daily Physical Responsibilities:
  1. Monitor life safety systems and maintain the fire log book
  2. Inspect boiler and electrical rooms along with inventory supplies
  3. Assess parking levels and exterior grounds
  4. Examine floors and grounds, documenting any deficiencies
  5. Clean, mop, and remove debris from refuse chutes
  6. Maintain cleanliness of elevator landings, lobby areas, back lobby/moving room, laundry facilities, parking level entrances, elevators, and equipment
  7. Conduct exterior clean-up
  8. Document snow removal activities during winter
  9. Replace garbage bins in the compactor room
  10. Clean and maintain vacant suites
  11. Carry out maintenance tasks in unoccupied suites
  12. Review and fulfill repair requests
Daily Administrative Responsibilities:
  1. Collect and process rental payments
  2. Deposit cheques at the bank
  3. Coordinate and schedule trades, suppliers, and contractors based on approved purchase orders
  4. Update the in-suite maintenance schedule
  5. Handle all correspondence
  6. Prepare purchase orders for Property Manager approval
  7. Receive purchase orders for completed work
  8. Forward completed purchase orders to Accounts Payable
  9. Address tenant inquiries
  10. Organize documentation filing
  11. Conduct and finalize incoming and outgoing inspections
  12. Distribute tenant notices
  13. Manage tenant communications
  14. Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs
