About the Role:

MetCap Living Management Inc. is a leading private third-party property management company specializing in multi-residential property management. We are a growth-oriented organization with our head office located in Toronto, Ontario, and property operations in various provinces across Canada.

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a Building Resident Manager for one of our properties in Ottawa. This is a full-time opportunity that includes benefits, health benefits, and training.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Physical Duties:
    • Conduct regular inspections of life safety systems, boiler and electrical rooms, parking levels, and exterior grounds
    • Inspect floors and grounds, listing deficiencies
    • Clean, mop, and clear debris from refuse chutes
    • Clean elevator landings, lobby, back lobby/moving room, laundry room, parking level entrances, elevators, and equipment
    • Complete snow logs during winter season
    • Change garbage bins in compactor room
    • Perform maintenance in vacant suites
    • Review and complete requests for repairs
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Collect and process rental payments
    • Take cheques to the bank
    • Coordinate and schedule trades, suppliers, and contractors on approved purchase orders
    • Process all correspondence
    • Prepare purchase orders for approval by Property Manager
    • Receive purchase orders for work completed
    • Send completed purchase orders to Accounts Payable
    • Prepare and complete incoming and outgoing inspections
    • Lift up to 50 pounds
