Job Title: Secondary LTO

We are seeking a qualified and experienced teacher to fill a long-term occasional (LTO) position in our secondary school.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • Basic Tech - Hospitality certification
  • Advanced Tech - Hospitality application experience

Applicants must also have a strong understanding of the UCDSB's qualifications and experience requirements.

References

The UCDSB requires your current and two most recent direct supervisors as references. If your experience is in a day-to-day occasional capacity, please ensure that you list the length of time that you worked for that Supervisor and whether the assignment was casual day-to-day or in a long-term occasional capacity.

If providing a Placement Teacher as a reference, the UCDSB will require confirmation and approval from the Principal at the Placement School that the deferred reference (Placement Teacher) is approved to provide reference on behalf of the Principal.

Selection Process

The UCDSB selection process includes a review of required qualifications, interview and assessment process, and reference checks. All employment offers are conditional on candidates providing a valid criminal record check for the vulnerable sector.
