Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified teacher to fill a Long Term Occasional (LTO) position at St. Hilary Catholic School in Red Rock. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Primary/Junior/Intermediate education and experience working with Indigenous students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement a shared vision consistent with the principles of Catholic Education
  • Integrate the Catholic Graduate Expectations and Seven Grandfather teachings within the curriculum
  • Provide high-quality instruction and support to students
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
Requirements:
  • Current membership in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
  • Primary/Junior/Intermediate qualifications
  • Indigenous Language Instructor's Program
  • Fluency in Ojibwe, both oral and written (preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
