Position Overview
As a Field Nurse Case Manager, you will be instrumental in providing support to patients and healthcare professionals through our Patient Support Program (PSP). This specialized nursing role encompasses delivering tailored administrative and clinical assistance to both physicians and patients, ensuring a smooth treatment experience.
Key Responsibilities
Your field-based position involves travel and offers numerous opportunities for professional growth. Your duties will include:
- Acting as the primary liaison for prescribers to facilitate patient enrollment in the program
- Establishing and nurturing robust relationships with key stakeholders
- Conducting patient chart reviews in-office to assist with reimbursement processes
- Providing comprehensive patient education regarding disease states, medication, injection training, and adherence support
- Collaborating with internal teams to enhance the patient journey
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction while addressing any unmet needs
- Participating in ongoing medical education initiatives
Qualifications
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess a nursing degree, be registered with the College of Nurses of British Columbia, and have experience in hospital environments or Patient Support Programs. Familiarity with bio-pharmaceuticals and specific therapeutic areas is advantageous. Additionally, strong communication skills, a high degree of motivation, and a dedication to personal and professional development are essential.
