Job Summary
Xpera is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager and Emergency Response Specialist to join our team in the Québec region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing environmental remediation projects, responding to emergency spills, and coordinating with clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage environmental remediation projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion
- Respond to emergency spills, assessing the situation and implementing effective response strategies
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules
- Conduct site assessments, sampling, and testing to identify environmental hazards
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective project delivery
Requirements
- University degree in Environmental Engineering, Geosciences, or a related field
- At least one year of experience in environmental consulting or a related field
- Fluency in French and English (written and spoken)
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
