Job Summary:
The Warehouse Lead will be responsible for assisting in the loading and unloading of shuttle trucks, organizing and verifying freight, and using company software to print documents required for route loads and delivery. Additionally, the successful candidate will use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word daily to perform duties such as sending and receiving emails, adding new employees, and following up on customer inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in loading and unloading shuttle trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Organize and verify freight by route and day for local and out-of-town routes.
- Print documents required for route loads and delivery using company software.
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word daily to perform duties such as sending and receiving emails, adding new employees, and following up on customer inquiries.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure compliance with company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and yard.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Completed secondary education or higher.
- Ability to lift and maneuver a minimum of 25 lbs. and load/unload product from trucks without assistance.
- Ability to work alone and unsupervised regularly.
- Ability to occasionally lift and maneuver 50+ lbs. This position requires bending, squatting, climbing, and reaching.
- Customer-focused and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.

License:
- Class 5 Driver's License.
Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $, depending on circumstances including an applicant's skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors.
