Warehouse Operations Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at PHSA. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and distribution center.
Key Responsibilities- Receive, unpack, and check incoming materials from suppliers, ensuring that supplies/goods are delivered as per specifications.
- Sort and place articles in appropriate areas, rotating stock and maintaining inventory shelves/areas in a clean and tidy condition.
- Check invoices against orders and supplies/goods, resolving discrepancies with suppliers and/or departments.
- Assemble, issue, and ship supplies/goods from requisition requests received, loading orders onto carts for delivery.
- Identify damaged/spoiled goods and advise appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform physical inventory counts and maintain inventory records, replenishing stock based on established minimum/maximum levels.
- Maintain records and provide information regarding stores activities, ensuring correct coding on stock items.
- Pick up and deliver a variety of supplies and/or materials to and from various locations in accordance with established policies, procedures, and schedules.
- Transport a variety of supplies and/or materials to and from delivery locations by operating a variety of vehicles, including trucks up to 10,000 lbs or 4536 Kg gross vehicle weight.
- Grade 12 plus one year's recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Valid Class 5 vehicle license.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Ability to organize work.
