Educational Requirements- Completion of post-secondary education, such as College or CEGEP
- Equivalent experience in a related field is acceptable
- Calculate and prepare payroll cheques
- Maintain and balance various financial accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
- Oversee general ledgers and financial statements
- Post journal entries accurately
- Compile and prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
- Prepare tax returns in compliance with regulations
- Generate trial balances of books
- Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy
- Proficient in accounting software
- Familiarity with electronic scheduling tools
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Must demonstrate attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Capable of handling repetitive tasks
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
