Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Boston Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Team Management
    • Supervise and check assembly of trays
    • Establish work schedules
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment
  • Skills

Work Environment

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. You will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently. You must be able to work in a noisy environment with odours.
