Position Overview

This role is pivotal in expanding our key account portfolio in Canada by nurturing both existing and prospective accounts to boost market share and revenue in this vital region through:

  • Establishing strong, long-lasting relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Utilizing Accor's extensive global network to execute the account strategy on an international scale
  • Coordinating key internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Cultivating a recognized level of expertise that delivers distinctive service value to clients
  • Mastering Accor's sales methodologies to achieve positive results with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Achieving targeted room night revenue as outlined in the annual objectives

Main Responsibilities:

Partnership Development and Business Growth

Responsible for:

  • Building strong connections with key decision-makers to enhance Accor's influence and positioning
  • Assessing client needs and expectations to define the value proposition and ensure effective agreement delivery
  • Staying informed about global business trends and providing unique insights, market expertise, and innovative solutions
  • Fostering relationships and engaging the account's third-party network to positively impact Accor's standing across various market segments
  • Addressing incoming client inquiries through online and direct channels

Account Strategy and Global Coordination

In charge of:

  • Crafting and executing a clear account strategy to enhance Accor's presence and revenue at both global and regional levels
  • Participating in negotiations as necessary
  • Identifying new business opportunities and enhancing account penetration
  • Developing business plans and defining actions in accordance with Accor's methodologies and processes
  • Ensuring selection and successful deal closures
  • Mobilizing and coordinating key contributors involved in the customer experience, including operations, hotel management, revenue management, and distribution

Performance Monitoring and Objective Achievement

  • The Director of Global Accounts is responsible for tracking the economic performance of accounts based on forecasts and objectives, taking necessary actions to meet these goals.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in global or property sales and management
  • Ability to analyze the complete client business landscape to lead a comprehensive strategic approach
  • Expertise in Meetings and Incentives (Strong knowledge of the Meetings & Incentives sector)
  • Experience in managing complex commercial and contract negotiations
  • Proficient in revenue management and distribution channels
  • Strong understanding of the business environment and its stakeholders
  • Ability to streamline intricate sales processes
  • Exceptional leadership skills to mobilize, coordinate, and ensure the commitment of diverse contributors
  • High proficiency in English (both written and spoken)
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Creative problem-solving capabilities
