Work Environment

Work is primarily conducted outdoors at construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, and transport construction materials efficiently.
  • Operate various cranes, including mobile and tower cranes, to lift and position equipment and materials.
  • Drive pilings into the earth using pile driving cranes to support structures.
  • Instruct and mentor apprentices in crane operations.
  • Assemble tower cranes on-site as required.
  • Utilize locomotive cranes to move materials within railway yards.
  • Assist in drilling and blasting operations on construction sites.
  • Operate bridge or overhead cranes for lifting and moving machinery and materials.
  • Manage offshore oil rig cranes for unloading and reloading supply vessels.
  • Utilize cranes mounted on boats or barges for lifting and positioning tasks.
  • Clean and organize salvaged materials on-site.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery.
  • Address chemical spills and other contaminants effectively.
  • Remove rubble and debris from construction areas.
  • Assist in operating machinery and equipment used in construction activities.

Experience Requirements

1 to 2 years of relevant experience is preferred.
