LPN or Medical Assistant Wanted - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus
About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a skilled LPN or Medical Assistant to support our medical professionals in a fast-paced primary care setting. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our clinic.
LPN Specialist Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional patient care, including vital sign checks and medication administration.
- Ensure patient comfort and discuss healthcare plans with patients.
- Communicate patient status to registered nurses and providers.
- Assess patient needs through telephone triage and provide timely interventions.
- Administer medication and document patient information accurately.
- Respond to emergency situations and maintain a safe environment.
- Facilitate patient flow and maintain office efficiency.
Required Education and Experience:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience or training in a medical healthcare facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Additional Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in primary care setting.
- Current BLS certification.
Medical Assistant Specialist Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for office visits and assist physicians with medical procedures.
- Administer medication and document patient information.
- Adhere to nursing policy and procedure when documenting information.
- Maintain office integrity and assume responsibility for maintaining current certification in CPR.
- Stay up-to-date with new policies and procedures.
Required Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or 1 year of Medical Assistant work experience.
- Medical Assistant Certification within 90 days of employment.
- Current BLS certification.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Experience or training in a medical healthcare facility as a Medical Assistant.
Additional Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in primary care setting.
- Current BLS certification.
Sign-On Bonus and Commitment:
The sign-on bonus will be paid in full after passing the probationary period. A one-year commitment is required for new employees only.
