LPN Specialist Float Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team as a Float LPN. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate patient needs through telephone triage.
- Administer medication, including injections, and document medication given or prescribed by the ordering physician.
- Provide patient and family education, and recognize and respond to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Adhere to Clinical Services policies and procedures when documenting information in patient records.
- Facilitate the flow of patients to maintain the integrity of the physician's office.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing.
- Active Florida license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Experience or training in a medical healthcare facility as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- 1 year experience in a primary care setting.
- Current BLS certification or to be completed within three months of employment.
Sign on Bonus: A $500.00 sign on bonus will be paid in full after passing the probationary period. A one-year commitment is required for new employees only.
